QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY OF CORRUGATORS

ELCORR

The self-adjusting ELCORR roller compensates thickness, length and alignment differences occurring in a moving web. The operation is purely mechanical, without using air, hydraulic or electronical devices, thus, an equal cross tension distribution, heat transfer, as well as an uniform glue application is achieved.



ELTRAC

TheELTRAC web guiding system for the single facer is fitted with an ELCORR compensating roller which automatically equalizes cross machine tension while precisely aligning the medium and liner webs. The ELTRAC system guides the liner and medium web exactly to the center line of the Single Facer. The ELTRAC system ensures the exact alignment into the lamination process in the single facer.


 

CORRALIGNER

The The CORRALIGNER is a fully automatic web guiding system for the corrugator bridge, installed before the web tension system and the preheater. Due to the geometrical frame construction, it operates as stabilisation, unlooping and web guiding device. According to experience the use of mechanical edge guides causes damage of the web edges and web breaks, especially during width changes. The CORRALIGNER system guides the webs without mechanical contact to the edge through usage of Non-Crash-Rolls and so avoids web breaks with cost-intensive downtimes.

TENSIONMASTER

The ELCorrVision-Pattern  quality of the corrugated sheets is impossible without constant web tension. The TENSIONMASTER system measures the web tension at the runout of the bridge, compares the results with the desired values and readjusts the web tensions automatically and continuous. This makes the premise for a constant heat transfer on the single webs in the pre-heaters.


TRIMMASTER

The TRIMMASTER is designed for dry end applications in front of the SlitterScorer. Its core function is to minimize edge trim in the Slitter Scorer. This is achieved by sensing board edges or pre-printed lines and shift the Slitter Scorer with an electrical drive to correct incoming misalignment mistakes. Thus, constant trim reduction results in waste savings. The integrated stablization device, based on our proven CORRALIGNER tracking wheel assembly, compensates for board oscillation. 

ELCLEAN

The ELCLEAN Sytem is an automatic, non-contact board and sheet cleaning system. The newly designed double sided cleaning head comprise of two vacuum zones (entry and exit zone) and an air knife zone (center zone). The system automatically recognizes web height changes due to flute caliper or single to double wall changes, and then adjusts the head distance accordingly.



ELCORRVISION-SCAN

The ELSCAN monitor displays high resolution captured images immediately, with a speed up to 5 images/sec. The exact positions of the longitudinal and cross cut are captured and displayed on the monitor. Any deviations of the cut can be recognized directly on the first sheet – and not only by the machine operator at the down stacker of the corrugator.


ELCORRVISION-PATTERN

The ELCorrVision-Pattern system is designed to automatically inspect complex shapes, print and die cut patterns to ensure repeatable quality of web or sheet processes. The control algorithm will compare the live scan with a pre-programmed master image (golden template) and log inaccuracies in reference to tolerances and thresholds that can be freely defined. Outputs for automatic rejection devices, alarm horns or alarms lights or even machine control signals can be defined as needed.

This is the concept of using digitally printed reels in the production of corrugated board. The system recognizes on the web surface: order / roll changes, waste areas (start / end), unprinted areas, web splicing. The system is designed to support digital printers, regardless of their manufacturer.

System rozpoznaje na powierzchni wstęgi m.in.: zmiany zamówienia / zwoju, obszary odpadu (początek / koniec), obszary bez nadruku, sklejenia wstęgi. System został zaprojektowany do wspierania drukarek cyfrowych, niezależnie od ich producenta.
